Annual Competition and BBQ

Our annual competition and barbecue will take place on Saturday 5th August on the Community plot, 37a. This event will be free to members and guests. As in previous years, allotment grown fruit and vegetables should be displayed in blue mushroom trays which can, I understand, be obtained from the Farm Shop on Spring Lane.
Entries should be brought to the Community Plot between 1.00 and 1.30. Winners and runners up, decided by the votes of members present, will be announced at 2.00, and this will be followed by a free barbecue. This is a great opportunity to socialise with other members and, as long as the sun shines, promises to be a great afternoon.
