We are aware that members are still finding pieces of asbestos on site. While undisturbed, this is not dangerous, however where found we should arrange to remove safely.
I have contacted GBC for advice who have said that we should leave it where it is and arrange collection by removal specialists. We need to get a view of how much there is so we can arrange for the council to remove the asbestos safely.
Could you please let me know if you think you have any asbestos on your plots, even if it is a small amount. Once we have this info, I will arrange with GBC.
